12 Hot & Mint Agave Recipes You Need to Try

If you haven't heard, we've r launched our two new flavors of our ever-popular THC Syrup: Hot Agave and Mint Agave. Now, you can enjoy these straight from a spoon, but if you're looking for culinary inspiration, you've come to the right place. In this blog, we've got six great recipes for each flavor.

THC Sweet & Spicy Wings
Kick-off game day (or any day) with these elevated wings' fiery, sweet kick. Although a grill works best for this recipe, you can always opt to bake them for 1 hour at 400°F.
Ingredients
- 4 tbsp. Hot Agave THC Syrup
- 6 lbs chicken wings
- 1½ cups of vinegar-based hot sauce
- ¾ cup of honey
- ¾ cup of butter
- 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 1 pinch of garlic salt
- 1 pinch of ground black pepper
Directions
- Preheat your grill to high heat
- Grill chicken wings for 8 to 12 minutes per side
- Mix hot sauce, honey, butter, cayenne, garlic salt, and black pepper in a saucepan
- Simmer over medium heat for 10 minutes
- Remove from heat and add Hot Agave THC Syrup
- Pour sauce over cooked wings
- Mix in wings with sauce
Serve and enjoy!
THC Spicy BBQ Sauce
Our hometown of Austin, TX, hands down, has the best BBQ in the world (sorry, everywhere else). We recommend using this sauce for dipping only to avoid cooking off the THC.
Ingredients
- 4 tbsp. Hot Agave THC Syrup
- 1 cup ketchup
- 2 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 2 tbsp. apple cider vinegar
- 2 tbsp. brown sugar
- 1 tbsp. vinegar-based hot sauce
- 1 tbsp. mustard
- 1 tsp. smoked paprika
- ¼ tsp. cayenne pepper
- ¼ tsp. kosher salt
- ¼ tsp. freshly ground pepper
- ½ tsp. dried oregano
Directions
- Combine all ingredients EXCEPT Hot Agave THC Syrup in a saucepan over medium-low heat
- Simmer ingredients for 5 minutes
- Let ingredients cool
- Mix in Hot Agave THC Syrup
- Pour in a jar and enjoy as needed
Spicy THC Margarita
You may have tried our original THC Margarita recipe, but now it's time to turn up the heat. With vibrant flavor and no alcohol, you surely won't be wasting away the day after a few of these margaritas.
Ingredients
- Hot Agave THC Syrup (1 tsp. = low potency, 1 tbsp. = medium potency, 1 oz. = high potency)
- 2 oz. lime juice
- 1 oz. orange juice
- 1 oz. lemon-lime soda
- 4 slices of fresh jalapeño
- Chili salt
Directions
- Fill a shaker with ice
- Add THC Agave, lime juice, & orange juice
- Shake hard
- Add lemon-lime soda
- Pour the shaker into a rocks glass with a chili-salted rim
- Add slices of fresh jalapeño
Spicy THC Pineapple Ginger Cocktail
Ginger is hot, peppers are hot, and our Hot Agave THC Syrup is...well...hot. But don't fret, as the pineapple in this cannabis cocktail mellows the flavors out (as well as your mood).
Ingredients
- Hot Agave THC Syrup (1 tsp. = low potency, 1 tbsp. = medium potency, 1 oz. = high potency)
- 3 oz. pineapple juice
- 1 tsp. chili powder
- Ginger beer
- Chili salt
- Whole Thai chili or sliced jalapeño
- Chili salt
Directions
- Fill a shaker with ice
- Add Hot Agave THC Syrup, pineapple juice, and chili powder
- Shake hard
- Pour the shaker into a rocks glass with a chili-salted rim
- Top off with ginger beer
- Garnish with Thai chili or jalapeño
THC Jalapeño Cornbread
You may have had our THC cornbread from our Danksgiving recipe blog, and now it's time to meet its sassier (yet still sweet) cousin, THC jalapeño cornbread.
Ingredients
- 4 tbsp. Hot Agave THC Syrup
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup yellow cornmeal
- 3 ½ tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 cup milk
- ⅓ cup vegetable oil
- 1 egg
- 1/2 cup cheddar cheese
- 1-1/2 cup of finely chopped fresh jalapeños
Directions
- Preheat oven to 400°F
- Grease a 9-inch baking pan
- Mix cornmeal, flour, salt, and baking powder in a bowl
- Add milk, vegetable oil, and egg and mix well
- Add Hot Agave THC Syrup and mix well
- Add chopped jalapeños and cheese and mix well
- Pour batter into the pan
- Bake for 20 minutes
- Check for doneness with a toothpick
If the toothpick is "clean," serve, if not, bake for a few minutes longer
Hot Agave Pizza
Move aside red pepper flakes and grated parmesan cheese. There's a new countertop pizza topping in town. Of course, you can just order a pizza and drizzle our hot syrup onto it, but if you're feeling a bit extra, we've got an entire recipe for you below.
Dough Ingredients
- 3 1/2-4 cups bread flour
- 1 tsp. sugar
- 1 envelope of dry yeast
- 2 tsp. of kosher salt
- 1 1/2 cups of water (110° F)
- 2 tbsp. olive oil
- 2 tsp. olive oil
Dough Directions
- Combine flour, yeast, sugar, and salt in a mixing bowl
- Whisk together ingredients
- Pour in hot water while continuing to mix the ingredients
- Add 2 tbsp.s of olive oil
- Beat the dough into a ball
- If the dough is too sticky, add more flour
- If the dough is too dry, add more water
- Place dough on a floured surface and knead into a ball
- Grease another large bowl with 2 tsp. of olive oil
- Add the dough to a greased bowl
- Cover bowl in plastic wrap for 1 hour (until it doubles in size)
- Place dough on a lightly floured surface and cut into two pieces
- Cover each piece with plastic wrap
- Let pieces rest for 10 minutes
Sauce Ingredients
- 15 oz. tomato sauce
- 6 oz. tomato paste
- 2 cloves of minced garlic
- 1 tbsp. chili-infused olive oil
- 1 tbsp. of crushed red pepper
- 1 teaspoon of dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon of dried basil
- ½ teaspoon of sugar
- ½ teaspoon of salt
- ¼ teaspoon of black pepper
Sauce Instructions
- Pour olive oil into a pot on medium heat
- Add in chopped garlic and cook for 1 minute
- Pour tomato paste and sauce
- Stir mixture together
- Add spices (red pepper flakes, oregano, basil, sugar, salt, black pepper)
- Stir mixture together
- Turn down the heat to low and continue to stir for 15 minutes
- Let the sauce cool down before spreading it onto the pizza dough
Final Ingredients
- Hot Agave THC Syrup (1 tsp. = low potency, 1 tbsp. = medium potency, 1 oz. = high potency)
- 1 ball of pizza dough
- 1 cup of sauce
- Olive oil
- 1 tbsp. of chili-infused olive oil
- ¾ cup thinly sliced fresh mozzarella
- 1 and ¼ cups shredded mozzarella
- Any toppings you desire
Final Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 550° F
- Prepare a surface with olive oil
- Roll out your dough on the oiled surface by hand, starting from the center and working out
- Keep patting and stretching your dough until it is in a ~12-inch circular shape
- Transfer dough onto an oiled baking sheet
- Drizzle 1 tbsp. of chili-infused olive oil onto the dough
- Spread pizza sauce on dough
- Add cheese
- Add your favorite toppings
- Bake for 8-12 minutes
- Remove pizza from oven to let cool
- Drizzle Hot Agave THC Syrup on pizza
THC Mojito
Yes, you may remember that we already have a THC Mojito recipe, but with Mint Agave THC Syrup, things have been raised to a whole new mintier level. Get on it.
Ingredients
- Mint Agave THC Syrup (1 tsp. = low potency, 1 tbsp. = medium potency, 1 oz. = high potency)
- ½ lime (chopped up)
- 6 large mint leaves
- Club soda
Directions
- Place THC Agave Syrup, lime, and mint in a Collins glass
- With a muddler, mash the ingredients into the bottom of the glass for ~ 10 seconds
- Fill the glass with crushed ice
- Top with club soda
THC Minty Hot Chocolate
If the weather outside is frightful, there's nothing more delightful than hot cocoa with a touch of mint—and THC. But last we checked, it's 100% completely legal to enjoy hot chocolate at any time of the year. Kick back, relax, and do you.
Ingredients
- Mint THC Agave Syrup (1 tsp. = low potency, 1 tbsp. = medium potency, 1 oz. = high potency)
- 4 cups of milk
- ¼ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- ½ cup of a chopped-up chocolate bar
- ¼ teaspoon pure vanilla extract
Directions
- Place milk and cocoa powder in a saucepan
- Heat mixture over medium-low heat, whisking frequently
- Add bits of chocolate bar and whisk until melted
- Whisk in Mint Agave THC Syrup and vanilla
- Serve immediately
THC Mint Salad Dressing
Maybe you've gone on a run with some ORCA Energy, and now you're looking to keep the healthy, good vibes going. Top this dressing onto your favorite mix of greens and smile at the progress you're making (and because you've consumed THC).
Ingredients
- 3 tbsp. Mint Agave THC Syrup
- ½ cup extra-virgin olive oil
- ¼ cup fresh mint
- 1 tbsp. Dijon mustard
- 2 cloves of chopped garlic
- ¼ tsp. fine sea salt
- 10 twists of freshly ground pepper
Directions
- Combine all ingredients in a food processor until smooth
- Taste to determine if you need more salt or pepper
- Pour on your favorite blend of greens
THC Mint Tea
We guess you can say this recipe is very...mint-tea tasting. Get it? Unwind with a warm cup of this relaxing tea, or pour it into a pitcher to cool it overnight.
Ingredients
- Mint Agave THC Syrup (1 tsp. = low potency, 1 tbsp. = medium potency, 1 oz. = high potency)
- 1 oz. mint leaves
- 4 cups boiling water
- Lemond or lime wedges
Directions
- Roll up mint leaves and twist them to release their oils
- Add mint leaves to a French press
- Pour boiling water into a French press
- Let mint leaves steep for 5 minutes
- Add Mint Agave THC Syrup
- Squeeze in fresh lemon or lime
THC Mint Chocolate Chip Milkshake
We all deserve a treat, and you're no exception. Indulge yourself with this mood-lifting take on this classic cool, crisp, chocolatey milkshake.
Ingredients
- Mint Agave THC Syrup (1 tsp. = low potency, 1 tbsp. = medium potency, 1 oz. = high potency)
- 3 cups of mint chocolate chip ice cream
- ½ cup whole milk
- Chocolate chips
Directions
- Put ice cream, milk, and THC Agave Syrup in a blender
- Blend until creamy
- Pour into a glass
- Top with whipped cream and chocolate chips
THC Mint & Basil Pesto
Did you think the salad dressing was the only savory mint recipe we had on the list? You thought wrong. Make this pesto, top off some pasta, sandwiches, or whatever you like, and thank us later.
WARNING: You will never go back to jarred stuff at the grocery store after making your own pesto.
Ingredients
- 1 or 2 oz. Mint Agave THC Syrup
- If you're using 1oz. of agave, add 1oz of honey
- 1lb basil (stems removed)
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 cup grated Parmigiano Regianoo
- 1 cup of pine nuts (or nuts of your choice)
- 2 ¼ cup extra virgin olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 lemon
Directions
- Blend basil, pine nuts, and grated cheese
- Slowly add in agave and olive oil as the mixture blends
- Squeeze the whole lemon and add juice to the mixture
- Top freshly cooked pasta or store in a jar or other uses
