Celebrate Danksgiving With 6 Easy Recipes
Table of Contents
It’s getting to be that time of year again. Soon, we all show gratitude with a little bit of turkey, stuffing, cranberry sauce, and, of course, cannabis. In other words, it’s not just Thanksgiving, it’s Danksgiving, aka “celebrating Thanksgiving with cannabis.”
So, to help you celebrate the ultimate Danksgiving, we’re going to provide you with five easy cannabis recipes you can serve using our THC Agave Syrup. From appetizers to desserts, you and your fellow enthusiasts will have plenty to be thankful for this year’s celebration.
Let’s go.
What is Danksgiving?
Thanksgiving is celebrated by reflecting on what you’re grateful for and, of course, eating a bunch of food. And for many, cannabis spurs the appetite while making food taste better. It can also serve as a non-alcoholic social stimulant, prompting conversations and inciting laughter. So naturally, cannabis pairs pretty well with Thanksgiving. And when you combine the two, it becomes a “Danksgiving.”
Is there any deeper “Danksgiving meaning?” Is there some crazy disputed origin story for this “stoner” Thanksgiving, much like 4/20?
Nope. Plain and simple, it’s all about enjoying cannabis before eating or just eating cannabis-infused Thanksgiving food. And that’s the beauty of it.
When is Danksgiving?
You can celebrate Danksgiving on different days. Some partake on the actual day of Thanksgiving, which is the last Thursday of November. However, some may do their Danksgiving as part of a Friendsgiving held before Thanksgiving.
And some legends will even do both to get the most out of this “weed” Thanksgiving.
How to Throw the Best Danksgiving
The first step to throwing the best Danksgiving is to build your stash. Now, you could go with any of your usuals from your favorite Austin, TX-based maker and purveyor of high-quality cannabis, but you can even kick it up a festive notch with our 100mg Delta-9 Peak Cranberry Gummy.
Or…you can make your own cannabis-infused Thanksgiving dishes with our THC Agave Syrup.
Besides that, it’s all up to you. Whether you’re planning on throwing a potluck with your friends, watching some movies, walking off your meal in the presence of nature, or playing some board games, it’s truly impossible to go wrong with Danksgiving (unless you don’t have any cannabis).
5 Easy Danksgiving Recipes
And now for the fun part, the food! Throughout these recipes, you will find “THC Agave Syrup” as an ingredient. This innovative, versatile product comes already-infused with 120mg of nano-emulsified Delta-9, ready to add to anything you can imagine. This not only eliminates the tedious task of decarboxylating your cannabis flower, but also makes all your dishes deliver fast-acting effects.
We've listed it with no specific quantity for each recipe (minus the cornbread). That’s because how much you want in your dishes will depend on how many people you’re serving and your milligram preference.
Here are the serving sizes for our THC Agave Syrup:
- 1 Teaspoon = 5mg THC
- 1 Tablespoon = 15mg THC
- 1.5 oz (standard shot glass) = 45mg THC
For example, if you’re preparing a dish for 5 people and they prefer low potency, you simply use 5 teaspoons of the THC Agave Syrup. It’s as simple as that.
