3 THC-Infused Drinks to Keep You Warm This Holiday Season
Table of Contents
As the winter blues wrap around us like a cold blanket, it’s natural to seek moments of warmth and joy to brighten up those chilly days. Imagine incorporating the mood-lifting magic of cannabis into your daily routine. With our versatile THC Syrup, this endeavor has never been easier.
Crafted with all-natural, organic agave, our syrup brings the blissful essence of cannabis to life in every sip. Picture yourself pouring a rich, golden drop into your favorite drink, instantly transforming it into a cozy embrace for your senses. Each bottle contains 120 milligrams of nano-emulsified Delta-9 THC to ensure a fast-acting, relaxing experience, whether you're just starting your day or unwinding after a long one.
So, why not turn your cup of coffee, tea, or hot cocoa into a luxurious ritual? While the possibilities are truly endless, we've curated three seasonal recipes for inspiration. But if you've never experimented with our THC Syrup in the kitchen before, there are a few things you'll want to keep in mind: heat, potency, and sweetness.
Boiling Points
Delta-9 THC can boil off at high temperatures. So, when it comes to hot drinks, wait for your beverage to get down to a temperature you feel comfortable sipping on before stirring in the THC syrup.
Potency
Since each drop is infused with Delta-9, it's best to measure this syrup rather than pour it into your cup all at once. To adjust the serving based on your tolerance level, follow this guide:
Measurement | Delta-9 THC Per Serving |
1 Teaspoon (tsp) | 5 milligrams |
1 Tablespoon (Tbsp) | 15 milligrams |
1.5 Ounce (oz) - a standard shot glass | 45 milligrams |
Sweetness
Agave is a lot like honey in texture, color, and consistency, but it's a bit sweeter than regular sugar, roughly 1.3 to 1.5 times sweeter. This means that it won't be a one-to-one swap for regular white sugar. Instead, the general rule of thumb is to use 30 percent less agave than the original sugar component. When using more or less to increase your drink's potency, just remember it'll also increase its sweetness.
Now that we've covered the basics, let's dive into the recipes!
1. Pumpkin Spice Latte with THC
Nothing says late autumn like a warm, creamy Pumpkin Spice Latte. Complete with notes of nutmeg and cinnamon, this beverage is not only comforting but easy to make. If you want to spice it up even more, you can add a drop of our Agave THC Syrup for a relaxing morning or an afternoon pick-me-up.
The following recipe makes 2 servings with 7.5mg of Delta-9 each.
Ingredients
- 1 cup of strongly brewed coffee
- ¼ cup pumpkin pie puree
- ½ tsp. pumpkin pie spice
- ½ tsp. vanilla extract
- 2 cups milk
- ¼ tsp. nutmeg
- 1 Tbsp of Agave THC Syrup
Instructions
- In a saucepan over medium heat, add the coffee, pumpkin, pumpkin pie spice, and vanilla extract. If using extra sweetener, you'll add that here, too.
- Heat for 3-5 minutes or until hot but not boiling.
- While the coffee mixture is cooking, froth the milk using a frothing pitcher, espresso machine, or other method.
- Divide the coffee mixture between two mugs and stir in 1/2 tablespoon each of Agave THC syrup.
- Using a spoon to hold back the foam, add the hot milk to each cup. Aim for a 2:1 milk-to-coffee ratio.
- Spoon the remaining foam into each mug. Top with pumpkin pie spice, cinnamon, or nutmeg as desired.
2. Peppermint Chocolate Espresso with THC
Is there anything more evocative of the holiday season than a Peppermint Mocha? This creamy, chocolatey beverage is perfect for cold winter mornings, or whenever you need a little joy. Plus, our Agave THC Syrup adds the blissful relief of cannabis.
This recipe makes 1 serving with 10 milligrams of Delta-9 THC.
Ingredients
- 3/4 cup of espresso or strong coffee
- 1 Tbsp. of unsweetened cocoa powder
- ¼ tsp of peppermint extract
- ½ cup of milk or creamer of choice
- 2 tsp of Agave THC Syrup
- Optional, but recommended toppings: Whipped cream, chocolate shavings, and crushed candy canes
Instructions
- Brew a double shot of espresso or a strong cup of coffee. Set aside.
- Put measured cocoa powder, Agave THC Syrup, and peppermint extract into a mug.
- Pour espresso or coffee on top of the mixture in the mug.
- Heat your creamer in the microwave for 30 seconds or boil on the stovetop until just below boiling. Pour creamer into the mug.
- Blend all ingredients with a milk frother or whisk together.
- Top with whipped cream, chocolate shavings, peppermint pieces, and enjoy!
3. Cranberry Orange Punch with THC
Not in the mood for coffee? Why not try a fruity THC-infused cocktail? Often called "Christmas Punch," our next recipe combines rich cranberry flavor and citrus for a delightfully refreshing beverage that's perfect for unwinding in the evening. By adding our Agave THC Syrup, you get subtle berry undertones and hemp-derived bliss in every sip!
Note that although Christmas Punch usually has rum or vodka, alcohol is not necessary since our THC Syrup provides relaxing effects by itself! This recipe makes one pitcher with 45 milligrams of Delta-9 to be broken up into multiple servings.
Ingredients
- 100% cranberry juice: unsweetened works best since we're adding many other sweet ingredients
- Pulp-free orange juice
- Ginger ale
- Ice
- Orange slices
- Fresh cranberries
- Pineapple chunk
- 1.5 oz of Agave THC Syrup
- Optional garnishes: rosemary sprigs.
Instructions
- Start by chilling your ingredients in advance for maximum refreshment.
- Pour ice into a pitcher or about halfway.
- Pour equal parts of unsweetened cranberry juice, orange juice, and ginger ale over the ice. We recommend 2 ounces of each.
- Add 1.5 oz of THC Syrup.
- Stir the mixture.
- Add a few orange slices, a pineapple chunk, and fresh cranberries.
- Garnish with rosemary sprigs and enjoy!
