On May 4, 2023, Terrance Booze, Section Chief of the Drug and Chemical Evaluation Section for the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), spoke on Current Trends at the DEA Supply Chain Conference in Houston, TX.
During this talk, he stated that converting CBD into THC (Delta-8, Delta-9, Delta-10, etc.) is not allowed and that these forms of THC are not exempt from the Controlled Substances Act (CSA). But is this statement, from just one person in the DEA something to worry about?
