Use a low-capacity charger
There are two types of power sources for recharging vaping devices: low-capacity and high-capacity. To protect the longevity of the vape battery, we recommend only using low-capacity chargers, like your computer or a low-capacity wall charger.
Don't charge overnight
We also recommend not leaving your vape plugged in overnight. For starters, it will eventually reduce the vape's battery capacity, as we mentioned above.
Secondly, as is the case with all batteries hooked up to a trickle low-capacity charge, there is the potential to generate a little heat. You may notice this on your phone or smartwatch. Since the Hometown Hero vapes take less than an hour to charge fully, you should unplug them overnight to avoid heat-related problems or battery degradation.
Unplug once charged
Did you know that keeping devices plugged in, especially when 100 percent charged, can
degrade the battery over time? If you want to keep your disposable vape around for the long haul, you'll want to charge it for 30 to 60 minutes.
This is more than enough time for it to reach full capacity and, once unplugged, will help protect an extended battery life.
That being said, don't leave your vapes to charge somewhere unattended, like your car. Some cars will charge even when not running. So leaving it overnight in your car will overcharge the battery.
