From the very beginning, Hometown Hero has had two missions. The first, to provide high quality e-juice to all of our stellar customers and second, to assist and support struggling veterans across the country by working with organizations like the DAV and VFW. This year, Hometown Hero was able to donate $25,000 to the VFW and the DAV!
Hometown Hero's Continued Support for Veterans
This year has been a real struggle for everyone. There is no doubt that the year 2020 will go down in infamy. This year has been particularly hard on disabled veterans across the nation with unemployment hitting all time highs and preexisting conditions amongst veterans making COVID-19 more dangerous.
Helping these heroes is in the lifeblood of Hometown Hero and one of the main objectives we consider each day we walk into our offices. To celebrate this year's Veterans Day, we invited our local DAV and VFW representatives to come out and visit our facility so we could show them our gratitude for their service and present them with our donation of $25,000, split 50/50 between both critical organizations. We would not be in a position to do this if it wasn’t for the incredible support of our amazing customers over the years and we are so thankful for each and every one of you.
A Visit From The Texas VFW

We began our day with a visit from the Texas VFW, led by Quartermaster Dan West and Angel Ramirez. These fine gentlemen are both retired, proud marines, with a whole lot of strength, heart, and amazing stories to tell. Hearing the wisdom and life advice coming out of their mouths is some advice we will always remember, the pure compassion and will to do good should be inspiring to every one of us. We will take these life lessons with us and apply them to all aspects of our lives, both business and personal.
After our CEO, Lukas Gilkey, presented these heroes with our donation of $12,500, they returned the favor with a challenge coin (if you know what these are, then you know importance they carry and the honor one feels when receiving them) and a limited edition Texas VFW - 100 years of service book. These gifts will forever be proudly shown off in our offices for all future visits.
DAV Visits Hometown Hero

Later that day we had the pleasure of hosting Masa Petit, the South Central Regional Director of Personal Philanthropy Programs for the DAV at our facility to accept our $12,500 donation. Masa is a real patriot with an ever bigger heart. After we presented her with the donation check, she returned the favor by giving us yet another challenge coin and custom DAV masks to keep everyone at the Hometown Hero offices safe during this pandemic.
You ask anyone in our office, and any day we get to host our brave men and women, or those who represent them is a great day in our book. We encourage you to, if you can of course, make a donation this year. 2020 has been particularly rough on veterans and organizations like the VFW and DAV who support them. The links below take you directly to their donation pages.

We would not be in a position to help these wonderful organizations if it wasn't for the continued support of our amazing customers. Thank you all for your continued support and contributing to our mission to help veterans.

Real heroes don’t wear capes…they wear boots and are bathed in Blue stars and red and white stripes. God bless our troops

One of the reasons I first ordered from Hometown Hero was because they donate money to Veterans affairs. As the father of a Vet that’s really important to me. My son did 4 tours of duty in Afghanistan surviving 3 IED explosions before being medically discharged after 8 years in the Marine Corps its nice to see companies such as HH supporting our Vets!! Peace Out. OOHRAH!!!!
