You may be questioning—how is Delta 9 THC legal in Nevada? After the 2018 Farm Bill federally legalized hemp and hemp products, Nevada passed Chapter 557 in 2019. As of writing this all derivatives, cannabinoids, and isomers of hemp are legal in Nevada.Â
Recreational marijuana has been legal in Nevada since July of 2017, but there is a legal separation between marijuana and hemp. If a hemp product passes the threshold of 0.3% of Delta-9 concentrations on a dry weight basis, it will be federally illegal and characterized as “weed”.
To learn more about Delta-9 legalities in Nevada, here are some key points in Chapter 557:

Delta-9 offers a wide range of effects, but two factors can alter your experience—your environment and tolerance.
It is essential to choose and prepare the right environment before taking Delta 9. When planning your environment, avoid being in a large crowd or a loud atmosphere. Instead, enjoy Delta-9 with a small group of friends in a safe and comfortable setting.Â
Lastly, if you don’t know your tolerance, do not take a large amount. Doing so will give you a ride that you didn’t expect and may not enjoy. We recommend taking a small amount, so you can scope out your tolerance while experiencing mild effects.Â
Many locations in Nevada hold Delta-9 edibles, such as dispensaries or local hemp shops, but you may want to try something new. We offer a variety of experiences with our Select Spectrum and Live Rosin products which both contain hemp-derived Delta-9.Â
