However, many special interest groups have tried (and failed) to outlaw these products despite the jobs they have created and the relief they have delivered to adults 21 and older. In 2025, these groups seek to create a state-sanctioned monopoly that will block access to cannabis for many and kill thousands of jobs, all to help make just a handful of people billionaires.
