I used to use a product from a well known essential oil brand that had an icy effect on sore muscles. I liked it, but the effects don't last long and I found I had to reapply far more often than was realistic for me, especially when I'm feeling shoulder pain and am out and about where it's inconvenient to remove clothing to reapply. So I tried this roll on and it's so much better than that EO stick formula I'd been using. Effects last me almost 2 hours and often thats enough to take the edge off where the muscle releases and I don't need to reapply again on the same day. There is some residue that will get on clothing if I don't let it dry before pulling my shirt back over my shoulder, but it does not stain or harm the fabric. But to avoid wasting the product I do recommend being patient for it to dry a bit or just use the blow dryer on cool shot for a moment and you're good to go. Even though I have to let it dry I prefer this much more than solid stick formulas because it is much easier to apply and I never feel like I'm wasting product. Highly recommended for pain relief in a specific area. Note that because there is a cooling effect you may not want to apply to all areas of the body. One last thing: if you're going to be on your feet for a long time on a hot day: put this on your soles before you put on socks. You will be able to handle both the heat and the pressure on your feet for HOURS. You're going to love it!
