Video Categories
Whether you’re here to crack us up, get real, show off your culinary skills, or share your service and experience, our competition is broken down into four main categories:
- Comedy: Bring the laughs with your take on a trending meme or short skit!
- Heartfelt: Share your personal story with Hometown Hero. Has a product changed your life?
- Recipe: Show us how you use Hometown Hero in the kitchen. Mocktails, pastas, or even your morning coffee- get creative!
- Veteran Testimony: Share the moments that define your veteran journey.
What You Can Win
- Fan Favorite Grand Prize: $1,000: The video with the most engagement across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook, and X takes the cake!
- Category Winners $500: One winner for each of the four categories will get $500!
- 20 Runner-Ups: The next top 5 in each category get a free product (sorry, bundles excluded).
- Participation: Every video upload (up to 3 per person) gets you 500 Hero Points, whether or not you post it to socials!
How to Enter (Super Simple)
- Create and Upload: Upload your video (minimum of 15 seconds) to the official Hometown Moments page.
- Log In or Sign Up: Enter the email tied to your Hometown Hero account. Don’t have one? You’ll be prompted to make one for submission.
- Post and Share: Share your video on Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook or X with #HometownMoments and tag @hometownheroatx. This part is necessary to be eligible for the grand prize!
- Wait in Suspense: Winners will be announced after October 12, 2025.
