THC Taffy

THC taffies are simply saltwater taffies infused with tetrahydrocannabinol, the primary psychoactive compound in cannabis plants. To make these candy edibles, a manufacturer cooks sugars at a high temperature and adds oils or butter to the mix. Afterward, the mixture is pulled and folded by hand to give it a soft, chewy texture. Then, the manufacturer adds Delta-9 THC distillate to the candy at some point (which is often proprietary knowledge). Believe it or not, saltwater taffy does not contain saltwater or sea-derived ingredients.

Our THC taffies contain sweetener, some sort of fat (such as butter or oil), flavoring, live rosin, and Delta-9 distillate. Distillate is a thick, viscous liquid with an amber hue that is nearly 100% pure tetrahydrocannabinol (THC). It is a versatile form of cannabis because one can consume it in edibles or vaporize it. Distillate offers the traditional edible experience of a more prolonged onset but with more potent effects and a longer duration. Live rosin, on the other hand, is a solventless concentrate that offers the pure essence of a strain. Whether Indica or Sativa, the original terpene profile of the plant is preserved in this "king of concentrates."

Unlike inhalation (i.e., smoking and vaping), when you eat THC in an edible, your body converts it into a new compound called 11-Hydroxy-THC, which offers the same effects as THC, such as relaxation, euphoria, laughter, and others, but with more intensity and greater duration. Yes, our THC taffies are legal on a federal level since we use Delta-9 derived from hemp plants and comply with the concentration limits set by the 2018 Farm Bill. According to this bill, hemp is defined as cannabis with a 0.3% or lower concentration of Delta-9 THC on a dry-weight basis. Federal legality allows customers 21 and older to order these candies online to be delivered discreetly to their home addresses. It should be noted, however, that the legality of hemp-derived cannabinoids will vary from state to state.
